Outline of the Urban Renewal Coordinator Association of Japan
 
The Association consists of regular, honorary, special and supporting members. Regular members are individuals and corporations in the urban renewal field, screened with professional experience. Honorary and Special members are those with meritorious contributions to the Association, and appointed by the Association Board. Those corporations, individuals or organisations who intend to support the Association can be a supporting member by application. Various committees, organised within the Association, are responsible for everyday activities of the Association.
 
History
 
15 October 1979 the Urban Renewal Coordinator Association was founded.
29 May 1985   the association was reorganised as a corporation
18 January 1992   the association was approved as the body of examination and certification for the urban renewal planner
28 May, 1997   Eika Takayama Funds was established
